Hassan: Hassan Member of Parliament, Shreyas Patel, has expressed his displeasure over the allegations leveled by lawyer and BJP leader Devarajegowda in his complaint to the Karnataka High Court and the Election Commission, over alleged electoral malpractices.
“It’s all a lie and a trick to make me happy. I did not do anything illegal during the election. Nothing is hidden. If I have done such a mistake, I will face it directly. I challenge such people to leave backdoor politics and fight face-to-face. None of the allegations made in the past have been proven. I am being targeted personally. In the coming days, I will show what I am. If I have indeed done wrong, I will bow to the law,” he said The allegations pertain to under-disclosure of properties owned, in the election affidavit.
