Hassan: Ten quintals (1,000 kg) of beef were found during a raid, under the leadership of the Tehsildar at stalls in the district, uncovering a mafia that is into cow smuggling. The raid took place against a man named Mustafa who was living in Puribatti Street, Belur Taluk, Hassan district. Five houses were also raided where the butchering was being conducted. Tehsildar Mamata has ordered that a case be registered against the tenant of the building.
