Knowledge a permanent asset for students: Hassan MP

Hassan: The quality of education is paramount as knowledge imparted to students will remain with them throughout their lives, said MP Shreyas M. Patel.

“What property we acquire, it can be snatched away by anyone.  But no one can steal the knowledge learned through discipline,”  he said addressing the Shrikrishna Janmashtami programme held at the Zilla Kannada Sahitya Parishad Bhawan in the city on Monday. “ Vidya is the only thing that always accompanies us.  Please give good education to your children.  I also grew up in a school in Holenarasipur and now I am an MP with your blessings.  Parents should provide quality education,” he said. 

Times Gurukula has been providing good education to children, he noted and requested that such good schools should be started in Holenarasipur taluk and also in seven taluks of the district.  Children are happy to see Krishna dressed as Radha.  Seeing the history of Krishna gives a devotional mind to everyone.  He assured that he will do the work honestly to resolve whatever problem is there in all the wards of Hassan and in the villages.  He said that more attention will be given to the development of the district with the cooperation of all.
