District in-charge Minister KN Rajanna has announced that CM Siddaramaiah
will ceremonially inaugurate the Yettinahole project in seven districts of Karnataka on September 6. The project involves the construction of seven weirs and water collection, which will be supplied to seven districts, including Araseikere taluk. The Deputy Chief Minister has cleared all hurdles and has taken personal interest in bringing the project to this stage. The pending works will be done urgently, and water will be released to seven district lakes next year. The officials have worked responsibly, and all those who have worked for this project will be honoured in the inaugural programme, he said.
