The heavily damaged cars and lorry on Shiradi Ghat road
Hassan: In a horrific collision involving a lorry and two cars in the Shiradi Ghat section of National Highway 75 on Monday, a person from Bengaluru was killed and five others were injured. The identities of the deceased and injured have not been ascertained yet.
The cars coming from Dharamsthala towards Bengaluru were overtaking each other, while the lorry was headed towards Mangaluru. The lorry was on the edge of the road and in danger of falling into a gorge.
All the injured have been admitted to the Government Crawford Hospital in Sakleshpur.
Sakaleshpur rural police station police visited the spot and registered a case.
