Hassan MP office inaugurated in District Commissioner’s premises

Hassan: Cooperation Minister and District in-charge, KN Rajanna, on Thursday inaugurated the MP’s office in the District Commissioner’s office complex premises.

After the Preamble of the Constitution was installed in the new office, Rajanna, MP Shreyas M.  Patel, along with Congress leaders and district officials participated in the puja.

Speaking later, he said that after 25 years, the people of the district had finally blessed the Congress party by electing its candidate as MP. He said the MP would now work towards gaining the trust of the people and setting up an office was the first step in becoming people-friendly. “The name of every people’s representative will be immortalized only when good work is done during their tenure.  Similarly, let Shreyas Patel also work towards making his name eternal by doing good for Hassan,” Rajanna said.

“It is a challenging task to be elected as Gram Panchayat member in recent times. Shreyas Patel has been elected as an MP in such a situation. In the coming days, I hope that by taking the confidence of all Congress leaders and the people of the district, Shreyas will continue as MP for the next 25 years,” the Minister said. Shreyas, on his part, said that he would make sincere efforts throughout his term to solve the problems of the people, and that he would be personally present in his office for two days a week to receive complaints from the public.

“The people of Hassan have given me a very responsible position. I will make sincere efforts for the development of the district with their cooperation. I will soon appoint staff to my office and begin work towards solving problems.  My goal is development of the district,” he said.
