Hassan: On Thursday, the Placement Department of Malnad College of Engineering, Hassan, (MCE) organized an awareness programme for students of the college about how to prepare for campus selections.
The presentation was made by Infosys Finacle.
Dr. AJ Krishnaiah, Principal of MCE, presided over the programme and spoke to the students on the occasion.
“Since there is one more year to go before you finally graduate, representatives of Infosys Finacle have been requested to offer you guidance on how to prepare for an interview and get placed,” he said.
Naresh, Vice-President of Infosys Finacle, said that talent was very necessary in matters of selection for employment. “General knowledge about the world is equally important. You must have knowledge about various issues other than just your domain expertise,” he affirmed.
Senior officials at Infosys Finacle, Karthikeyan and Arun, apprised the students about the selection process and training, and clarified their doubts.
Dr. Geeta Kiran, Dean of Computer Science, MCE, and College Placement Officer BB Nilakantappa helped arrange the programme.
Public Relations Officer Rajni and placement coordinators participated in the event.
