Hassan: “Students can achieve their goals with hard work and more focus on education,” YN Subbaswamy, President of the Vijaya School Management Board, has said.

On the occasion of a felicitation programme for SSLC achievers for 2023-2024 in the school premises recently, he called for a spirit of inspiration among the youth if they wished to move forward in life.

The programme was organized to honour Sarvottam S. Gowda, who stood third in SSLC in the state, and 52 other students who scored a total of 88 out of 100 marks individually in six subjects.

Sarvottam received a cash prize of Rs 1,19,000 and souvenirs on the occasion. 

Subbuswamy said that such felicitation programmes would help motivate children to do better in life as it would work as an incentive.

Founder-director of the school, Tara N. Swamy, said that students should pay attention to education while maintaining physical and mental health. 

“Every job has its own dignity.  It is possible to become a top worker with the skills you have. Self-employment opportunities should be created in the current economic scenario.  I also advise the youth to develop noble qualities that contribute to society and the country. One must lead a righteous life, and alongside, one’s work should aim at innovation and value-addition,” she added. 

School Educational head Dr.  Srilakshmi S. called upon the students to focus on imbibing good food, health and values.
