Navkis College students get industry-ready through training programme

Hassan: A two-day workshop on “Siemens EDA Tools” was organized for third and final-year students of Navkis Engineering College in Hassan on Wednesday by the Electronics Department. College Principal Dr. Venugopal Rao, addressing the students, said that they must gain skills after graduation, as only skills would help them avail of opportunities in the real world.

“Explore yourself and your abilities utilizing such seminars,” he told them.

Vishnudev R. Gowda, resource person for the seminar, conducted the training for the students on VLSI tools. The inauguration ceremony was also attended by Head of Department of Electronics and Communications, Dr. Babita Jain, and programme coordinators Shruti K.M. and Asha J.
