Free check-up, scanning and counselling camp for childless couples in Hassan

Hassan: Karnataka’s popular Santasa IVF Institute has organized a free counselling, check-up and scanning camp for childless couples on its 16th anniversary. Santasa Institute was established in 2008 under the leadership of Dr. Soumya Dinesh as the first and only IVF centre in Hassan with the aim of providing the best treatment facility for fertility problems, with international-standard IVF facilities.

The institute is proud to be responsible for the birth of Hassan’s first test tube baby in 2009.

Santasa is one of the few institutions in India to have international standard IVF [Test tube baby] treatment facilities and the highest quality hysteroscopy and laparoscopy treatment services.

In 2014, Santsa Mysore IVF and Endosurgery Institute was established to expand its services to Mysore.

Santsa offers world-class fertility treatment, including precision scanning to monitor egg development, intrauterine insemination (IUI), in vitro fertilization (IVF), blastocyst culture, and pre-implantation genetic diagnosis (PGD).

Santsa offers world-class fertility treatment, including precise scanning to monitor egg development, intrauterine insemination, in vitro fertilization, blastocyst culture, and embryo biopsy.

There is a system for freezing eggs, sperm, and embryos called Cryostorage. Cryostorage is the process of processing eggs, sperm, or embryos in the IVF laboratory through certain methods and storing them at -196° C without spoiling.

Thus, the stored eggs, sperm, or embryos can be used later.

Santsa is proud to have introduced the facility of pre-pregnancy embryo testing/biopsy (PGD) for the first time in Hassan and Mysore.

New innovations in the field of IVF such as embryo-hatching, Platelet Rich Plasma, and ERA (Endometrial receptivity array) are available under the roof of the hospital.

This institution has the distinction of starting the first post-doctoral fellowship in Fertility for gynaecologists in Hassan district in collaboration with the famous Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences of the state.

It has also given the happiness of free and minimal cost test tube baby treatment to many poor couples.

Every year, it organizes free check-up, scanning and counselling camps for childless couples. Similarly, now, on the occasion of its 16th anniversary, a free camp has been organized in Hassan from December 17 to 18 and in Mysore from December 13 to 14.

Couples who register in this camp will be provided IVF treatment at a discounted rate.

The inauguration of this camp was held in Hassan on December 17.

The chief guests of the programme were Dr. Srirang Dange, President of the Hassan branch of the Indian Medical Association, Dr.  B. S. Preeti, President, Polio Pulse Programme, Hassan and Yamuna, District Labour Officer.

Dr. Soumya Dinesh, Managing Director of the organization, spoke about the path taken by the organization and the new innovations available for child-related problems.
