39th State-level journalists’ conference registration app launched

Bengaluru: Sivananda Tagadoor, President of the Karnataka Working Journalists’ Association (KUWJ), released an app for the registration of delegates arriving for the 39th State-Level Journalists’ Conference to be held in Tumkur soon.

He spoke after releasing the app at the pre-well meeting of the conference held at Patrika Bhavan in Tumkur.

This app has been launched to ensure documentation of participants in the conference and to make appropriate arrangements for the same.

He called on journalists to register on the app immediately.

The meeting will be held on January 18 and 19 at the premises of the Sri Siddhartha Technical College, Tumkur, and he called on all journalists to work together for its success.

Previous such conferences were held in Mysore, Mangalore, Kalaburagi, Vijayapura and Davangere and set different milestones for achievement.

This time, around 6,000 journalists are expected to attend the conference and Sivananda advised the organisers to ensure there was no problem with food or accommodation.

On this occasion, he personally reviewed the steps taken by various sub-committees so far and gave suggestions on further points of action.

Sivananda also distributed information booklets to the chairmen of various committees for consideration.

KUWJ General Secretary G.C. Lokesh and State Secretary Somashekar Keragodu spoke on the occasion, and appealed to everyone to work for the success of the conference.

District President of the association, Purushottam, informed the meeting about the work done so far.
