MCE board meets, outlines work ethic for the future

Hassan: Principal-Secretary of the Malnad College of Engineering (MCE), Chauduvalli Jagadhish, has said that the cooperation of all employees is essential for the development of the institution.

He was addressing a meeting of the college management board on February 15, 2025. In attendance were all heads of departments and the Dean, the head of administration.

“The cooperation of employees is needed for the growth of the college. Principal Dr. A. J. Krishnaiah is doing a great job. Along with him, the director of the college has been given more responsibility. It is your duty to provide a good education to all students and cooperation to fellow staff,” he added.  

President of the college, R.T. Dyavegowda, who presided over the meeting, said that students of MCE were working across the country and the globe as well.

“Our college has earned a good name due to the hard work of its employees,” he said with pride.

The new Vice-President of MCE, Arjun Gurudev from Ballupet, said the institution had been providing a good education for over 60 years. “I express my gratitude to all the heroes who have put me in a leadership position at my age,” he said in gratitude.

“It is my responsibility now to carry out the duties given to me under the guidance of the management,” he said in conclusion.  

He also affirmed the need for cooperation of all wings of the college to sustain and enhance the name of the legacy institution.

Principal Dr. A.J. Krishnaiah said that the message from the management was clear and direct and the mandate is outlined. Now work must begin accordingly.

College Director Dr. S. Pradeep was present in the meeting.
