Hassan: The Tumkur Zone TAC meeting was held on the second floor of the Hassan BSNL Bhavan on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Lok Sabha member Shreyas M. Patel and under the guidance of Senior General Manager Digambar Kumar.
The meeting was attended by zone leaders, BSNL officials and other dignitaries and discussed business development, connectivity improvements and technology updates.
The officials were asked to make arrangements so that BSNL services could reach every village of Hassan district.
They held consultations with officials from many areas including Sakleshpur, Channarayapatna, and Mysore, which are facing many problems, and obtained information about services required by students, especially.
They felt that people were not aware of the important services offered by BSNL and there was a need for more publicity on that front.
“Earlier, people used to protest for water, roads and other basic problems. Now, as technology has developed, they protest for better internet. Officials should understand what is necessary for life and respond to the problems of the people,” the MP said.
On this occasion, many officials including the Deputy General Manager of BSNL participated in the meeting.
