Hassan: On Friday, Hassan MP Shreyas Patel visited the Agriculture Produce Marketing Committee (APMC) market in Hassan city and inspected its business.
Receiving complaints from traders, he instructed them to submit their grievances to the officials and ordered the officials to resolve them quickly.
Speaking to reporters, Shreyas said that the traders had briefed him about several problems in the APMC market, including the lack of space and he, in turn, has instructed the officials to hold a meeting soon with them and resolve the issues.
“Farmers from rural areas across the district come to sell their produce in the APMC market. Therefore, cleanliness should be given high priority. Instructions have been given to follow safety measures along with security,” the MP said.
