
Hassan: Women working in the medical profession are under a lot of pressure, and it is imperative that a woman doctor balances her professional life with family management to protect the basic unit of social life.
This issue will be the theme of the 6th State Level Women Doctors conference organized on September 22 by the Indian Medical Association in Hassan, said
President of IMA (Women’s Section) Dr. BK Soumymani at a press meet on Friday.
Addressing the media, she said the chief guest would be the Vice Chancellor of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Dr. S. Kanta.
The conference would be held from 10 am to 5 pm at Nanda Gokul Convention Centre in Hassan city.More than 350 women doctors from many districts of the state will participate in the convention and more than 100 male doctors are also expected to attend.
Among those present at the conference were Dr. Savitri, Dr. Kirana, Dr. Dinesh, Dr. Rangalakshmi and Dr. Vedavati.
