Hassan: The Government e-Marketplace (GeM) Portal in association with Laghu Udyog Bharati- Karnataka Hassan Chapter, IMS Foundation and the Hassan District Small Scale Industries Association officially conducted the Government e-Market Place (GeM Portal) Registration and Onboarding in the city recently.
The chief guest on the occasion was Deepak Mahadev T, Senior Assistant Director-State and Union Territories, GeM, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India.
The programme was presided over by Madan Kumar, President, Laghu Udyog Bharati-Karnataka Hassan Chapter. The guest of honour was Shivaram R, President, Hassan District Small Scale Industries Association.
Skill development and training facility
Members of the Hassan District Small Scale Industries Association also laid the foundation stone for a skill development and training facility to soon be established at the second floor, Kaigarika Bhavan, Industrial Estate, Arasikere Road, Hassan.
Swaroop Prakash, MLA, Chandre Gowda, President, Hassan Municipal Corporation, Gokul Das Nayak, Joint Director – DIC, Hassan, and Kiran H.Α., Chairman, IT-BT Committee, FKCCI, Bangalore, were the chief participants at the event.
The guest of honour was Prakash S. Yaji, Senior Vice President, HADSSIA, and Secretary, Laghu Udyog Bharati, Karnataka.
